After growing up in a small town in Nebraska, I moved to Seattle in 2012 and love the pacific northwest!

Originally from the east coast, I graduated from Syracuse University with a B.A. Dr. Simone had been happily working in teacher education for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the subject areas of foundations of education (history, politics, social issues, philosophy) and teaching pedagogy (lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and more). I spent 26 months deployed, to Taji, Iraq in 2006, & Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2009. I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Political Science and a Paralegal Certification.
